Technology is one of the things which I am thankful for. People are always getting lost whenever they go to unknown places. When I first started out in my job, I found myself always getting lost. Most of the time, I end up somewhere very far. It took me 4-6 hours each time to find my route back to the office. Since I work for a shipping company, my boss did not like this. There was nothing I could do about it because this is my first job.
Instead of firing me, my boss has a great idea. He thought of using GPS tracking for us. This allowed him to watch over us. Whenever we were lost or we had trouble along the road, he would know. I really found this very useful too. It allowed me to report if I am having trouble along the way. This is a really reliable system.
According to him, this has made his business a lot better. He was able to maximize our deliveries in a day. Each time he had to track us down, he would know if we were stalling or not. Believe it or not, there were employees who were scolded because of this. So far, all of us are doing a great job when it comes to doing our work efficiently.
